at Diluvio Universal Barcelona

The exhibition presents a collection of drawings and sculptures created by Camille Vannier over the years, inspired by the packaging of medicines and supermarket and food packaging. Having long held a fascination for supermarkets, she makes a point of visiting them whenever she travels abroad. For years, she has filled her notebooks with drawings of items such as tobacco packets, metro tickets, batteries, cans of peaches in syrup, and various other products. Five years ago, during the lockdown—a period she experienced largely out of boredom—she began sculpting with clay, recreating the products she had on hand at the time; an activity she has continued ever since. She presented her collection of drawings and sculptures at El Diluvio Universal on march 2025.
